Happy Ten LLC was founded by Eric Yap.

Started his career as a recruitment consultant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he was the first local Japanese speaking recruitment consultant in the industry. From a multilingual (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Malay) consultant to cross-lingual coordination, he managed for various translation projects including Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Besides, he worked with many top level interpreters/translators for international conferences/projects as well. Eric was demanded to work around with many handicaps. This brushed up his international sense in HR management and public communications.

His second visit to Japan in 2000 was to work at Japan Echo Inc, a Tokyo based English publisher. He worked for 5 years there and gained the foundation of many elements for his career here. Further he went on his career into sales and marketing with a couple of companies before his started Happy Ten.
